The Beautea Industry generates 100 billion in revenue worldwide according to an article done by Josh Howarth from Exploding topics. https://explodingtopics.com/blog/beauty-industry-stats
However, this article is not about the statistics of the beautea industry but my interpretation of how the industry and social media has molded the way society interacts with each other. People are not basing their social groups on morals and integrity any longer but how well enough you look to socially engage with one another.
Popular Female Rap Artist “Erica Banks”, went viral earlier this year expressing how she would only like to hang out with individuals that looked like her. Are we talking about the full glamour beat,BBL figure and the popular fashionova attire? It threw social media into a frenzy wondering how people reach certain statuses and decide to only hang with the “pretty privileged” crowd instead of being inclusive. It seemed very insensitive for an artist to make this big of an expression forgetting that her followers/fans are not all within society's standard of “pretty”. What does being pretty even mean? And why does anyone have to fit into a certain facade of what beautea really is to be able to sit at the table?
According to the Oxford Languages, the definition of pretty means to be attractive in a delicate way without being truly beautiful or handsome. In actuality, being pretty does not equate to the exterior limitations but an actual embodiment of the term. Pretty is not seen but felt,so why do so many people only desire to socially engage with people that only look the part and not actually be the part?
My theory! Social media has been set up to create the illusion that the only way to acquire money, power and respect is to first be attractive enough to gain success. That systematic representation then pushes the narrative that in order to stay abundant you must keep desirable friend groups and your surroundings must also fit into the pretty picture.
If we focus more on quality relationships instead of continuously embracing this narrative the world and social media as we know it would be left with more authentic interactions and more empowering engagement. Ultimately creating space for all the worlds people to bask in true beautea authentically.

Protecting your peace is an essential part of staying youthful and living within the noise of the world without being directly effected by your daily interactions. In Buddhism, being peaceful is to be in friendship with oneself and the inhabitants of the world. Below are 5 ways you can protect your peace.
1. ESTABLISH BOUNDARIES
We all get that gut feeling when we are not in agreement with something that doesn't align with our person. That feeling should not be ignored that is your inner person saying," Hey!, this doesn't feel good to me". This feeling is where you will find your boundaries. Set boundaries and stick to them!
2. MEDITATE
Set time aside to quiet your mind and release. When you give yourself time to settle down it relaxes the mind giving space for your mind to gain clarity. This can help improve how you handle your daily interactions.
3. DECLUTTER
Keeping your home, car and workspace organized and clean is a great way to keep your mind from wondering. Decluttering helps to keep you focused and on target assisting you in being more efficient with achieving your goals.
4. BREAKING FROM SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media can have us in a choke hold at times and making it hard to focus on our own goals. It can put you in a state of depression believing that you are not yet where you need to be when in actuality you are exactly where you need to be. Everyone wasn't meant to all be on the same timeline, take a break to reboot and focus on your life's purpose.
5. BE AUTHENTIC
Being true to yourself and living the way you see fit unapologetic-ally is how you accumulate less stress.Knowing who you are eliminates the need for validation and gives you breathing room from the noise.

The beauty industry has been hit hard by the increase in product and service costs over the past few months as customers have become more savvy about their spending habits. Businesses are struggling to maintain their sales volume despite higher prices. In this comprehensive guide, we will take a closer look at how price increases can impact the sale of beauty services, as well as strategies for maintaining your business’s bottom line.
One way that increased cost affects sales is through customer hesitation. When customers see a significant increase in prices from what they expect or are used to paying, it can cause them to think twice before making a purchase decision — even if they were planning on using that provider or purchasing those products previously. Many customers may choose not to make purchases at all or opt instead for alternatives with lower prices (such as online marketplaces due to concerns about personal budgets being strained too far by increased costs of goods and services.
In addition to customer hesitancy, there is also an issue surrounding consumer trust when it comes to pricing increases caused by external factors such as inflationary pressure or vendors changing policies and rates abruptly without notice – something many popular brands have done recently in order to keep up with rising demand while still protecting their profits margins during difficult times like these. The problem here lies not only in potential mistrust from consumers who feel mislead but also undermines loyalty from returning clients who believe they were taken advantage of unfairly.
Fortunately there are some steps you can take to proactively protect your sales despite having cost increase beyond your control. Firstly you should focus on providing value-driven propositions that go above and beyond expectations; Secondly commit yourself strongly into improving customer relations & experiences; And thirdly use technology such as digital marketing platforms & e-commerce solutions to reach out efficiently to prospective clients within a reasonable budget regardless of pricing changes constraints affecting either local business landscape – Small Businesses segment included!
Finally don’t forget small regular improvements (ease purchasing process with simple billing systems/options etc no matter how seemingly insignificant …as every bit counts especially during challenging economic times! This includes other techniques such as running campaigns rewarding loyal customers for instance supporting them financially afford cost related issues arising due to high demands…allowing them to redeem discount codes towards purchased items or privileged access bonus offers etc All good ideas helping drive desired results & retaining clientele satisfied over extended periods.
Managing sale volumes despite price increases that resulted from uncontrollable circumstances isn’t an easy road travel but absolutely achievable. Setting forth the right strategic framework applied consistently throughout whole operation stages eventually lead to high expected success rates.
The rising price of beauty services has undoubtedly had a significant impact on sales volumes in many industries but the exact magnitude of the impact will vary depending on different market factors, it is clear that businesses need to take steps to ensure that they are taking into account shifts in prices when developing their strategies. By doing so, they can minimize the negative effect while continuing to remain competitive and profitable in this ever-evolving industry.
